Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to order and review an edit on donecut.com. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What we do
- We test our main pages, including the order form and the pricing, terms and order-lookup pages, with automated accessibility checks (axe) in light and dark mode.
- We build the order form to work with a keyboard, and give its buttons and fields text labels for screen readers.
- The site follows your system's light or dark setting, and you can switch it yourself.
- Edits we make usually include burned-in captions, and you can ask for a captions style in your notes.
Known gaps
- The “before” clips in our sample videos don't have captions yet.
- Some text placed over video on the home page may have lower contrast against certain frames.
- Sign-in is provided by a third party (Clerk), and payment by Stripe; we rely on their accessibility work for those screens.
