What is the cheapest YouTube video editing service?

Of the done-for-you services checked here, DoneCut has the lowest price for one video: $49 for up to 10 minutes of footage. Monthly plans can work out lower per video if you use every video in the plan (VidChops is about $81 a video at $325 for 4). Fiverr freelancers start lower, but each seller sets their own price; Fiverr's own guide puts a basic edit at $65 on average.

What is the fastest way to get a YouTube video edited?

In our test orders and sample edits so far, DoneCut finished 16–82 minutes after an edit started, typically under 90. Human editing services quote 24 hours to 3 business days for a first draft.

Do I need a monthly subscription to get videos edited?

No. DoneCut and Tasty Edits charge per video, Video Husky sells credit bundles, and Fiverr is per project. VidChops, Editvideo.io and Veedyou are monthly plans.

Is an AI editing service as good as a human editor?

For talking-head videos, Shorts and podcasts, an AI editor handles the cuts, captions, graphics and music well, and DoneCut shows you the full edit before you pay the second half. For heavy VFX, custom animation or a film-style edit, a human editor is still the better choice.

Should I use an editing app or an editing service?

Apps like Descript, Gling or CapCut make editing faster, but you still do the editing. A service hands you a finished video. If your time is the bottleneck, use a service; if you enjoy editing, an app is cheaper.
