A four-minute creator talk, cut into one Short with motion graphics
The brief it was given
“Make one premium 30–45 second vertical Short from my talking-head clip; the other five clips are b-roll you can cut to. Hook in the first 2 seconds. Go big on motion graphics: an animated title, kinetic word-by-word captions, animated stat callouts and icons timed to what I say, smooth punch-ins and transitions, b-roll cutaways, light effects like glows and light leaks, and sound design on every hit. Keep my face clear of graphics.”
A hook that counts
"Why you should shoot in 4K" builds in, and a stat card counts up to 1,000,000,000 watch hours on TVs a day, with the source he quotes, YouTube's CEO, on screen.
A slam on the big number
When he repeats "1 billion watch hours", the frame punches in with a flash and the stat card pulses, so the number lands twice.
B-roll on the point
On "content on televisions" it cuts away to someone watching TV at home, and animated chips name where people watch: families, living rooms, bedrooms.
Show, don't tell
1080p and 4K cards with their real pixel counts, a "4× the detail" badge, and a red stamp on "it's not going to display the best".
A lens snapping into focus
Camera b-roll is held soft and snaps sharp exactly on "sharper", with the words SHARPER and CLEARER animating in.
An end card that loops
"Shoot in 4K" slams in with a light leak, and the cut flows straight back into the opening hook when the Short replays.

What a lesson edit comes back with.
- One take, tightened
- Film the whole lesson without stopping. Restarts, "let me say that again" and long pauses come out, and every cut lands in silence.
- Your teaching points on screen
- Frameworks, steps and key numbers appear as titles and callouts on the line you say them, and never cover your face.
- Exercise names and reps, for fitness coaches
- Say them on camera or list them in the notes, and they go on screen as titles while you demonstrate. You check them in the preview.
- Shorts that stand on their own
- From a long lesson the editor picks self-contained moments, opens each on a hook and adds bold word-by-word captions for silent scrolling.
- Your brand on every video
- Sign in and save your logo, colors, caption style and standing instructions once. Every new edit also studies the ones you approved.
- Sound that holds up on a phone
- A music bed under your voice, a few sound effects on the moments that matter, and a master at -14 LUFS.

I record lessons in one long take. Is that a problem?
No, that's the easiest footage to edit. Mistakes, restarts and long pauses come out, and every cut lands in silence so no word gets clipped. If you lose your place, pause and start the sentence again; the clean take is the one that stays.
Can one lesson become a YouTube video and Shorts?
Yes. Order the YouTube edit, and when you approve it, add up to 10 extra shorts at $19 each, made from the same footage in the same look. If you only want Shorts, order those directly: the editor picks the strongest moments, or you list timestamps in the notes.
Will every video look like my brand?
Sign in and save your logo, brand colors, caption style and standing instructions once, for example "end with my booking link on screen". Every edit after that uses them, and also studies the edits you already approved.
Can you edit webinar or workshop recordings?
Yes, up to 60 minutes of footage per order; a 45-minute recording is $154 as a YouTube edit. Screen recordings work too, as long as they're a video file. A longer session needs trimming to 60 minutes before you upload.
What can I upload besides the video?
Your logo, slides as a PDF, reference images and music are all free to add; only the video footage is priced. Write what you want in the notes, in your own words, such as which points to put on screen.
How long does an edit take?
You see a live estimate from the real queue before you pay. Once an edit starts, our test orders and sample edits so far have taken between 16 minutes and about 1.5 hours, most under 90 minutes. Your order page updates as it goes.
