Market commentary and explainers, edited and waiting for your sign-off.
DoneCut edits video for financial advisors. Upload a raw recording of your market commentary or a retirement, tax or planning explainer, and get back a finished YouTube video or a set of Shorts, with captions, on-screen titles, music and clean sound.
Every edit comes back as a watermarked preview, and nothing is final until you approve it, so any review your firm requires happens on the finished video, on your schedule. A YouTube edit is $49 for up to 10 minutes of footage, then $3 a minute, and you pay half to start.

A finance creator's talking head, cut tight with charts and callouts
Captions in his own words
Bold captions carry every line, so the point lands with the sound off: “Everybody tells you the same thing.”
The advice everyone gives, on screen
A panel builds as he lists it: “Buy the dip”, “Buy low, sell high”, then “Wait for the pullback”.
The word he leans on, in color
“Cost more traders more” lands with MORE in red.
Arrows that follow the words
A green line climbs on “buy something that’s going up”, and a red one drops on “going down”.
His rule, highlighted
“Buy high, sell higher” gets its own panel, with HIGHER in green.
A chart that makes the point
He moves to a corner while a stock card falls from $100.74 to $19.49, each drop tagged “20% discount” and “What a deal!”.
A real client edit, made by our editor.
What an explainer edit comes back with.
- Your words, tightened
- Restarts, filler and long pauses come out, and every cut lands in silence. Captions are checked against the audio word for word, so what's on screen is what you said.
- Terms on screen while you explain them
- Titles, lower thirds and callouts appear on the line they belong to, so the term you're explaining is on screen while you explain it.
- Your disclosure, as written
- Paste your firm's disclosure text in the notes and say where it goes, or save it once under "Always do this" in your style. You check it word for word in the preview.
- A preview that waits for you
- The edit arrives watermarked on your private order page and stays there until you approve it. The clean file unlocks only after you do.
- Shorts from the same recording
- When you approve, add vertical shorts at $19 each, cut from the same footage in the same look, with captions sized for silent scrolling.
- Sound and color done properly
- A quiet music bed under your voice, consistent color across your shots, and a master at -14 LUFS, the loudness YouTube normalizes to.
What it costs, worked out.

Questions

Who approves the video before it's final?
You do. Every edit arrives as a watermarked preview, and it stays a preview until you approve it and pay the balance; only then does the clean file unlock. Any compliance review your firm requires stays with you. DoneCut edits the video. It doesn't review content for regulatory compliance or sign off on it.
Can you add our required disclosure?
Yes. Paste the exact wording in the notes and say where it should appear, for example as on-screen text at the end. If it belongs on every video, save it once under "Always do this" in your style. Check it word for word in the preview, and use a round of changes if anything needs adjusting.
Will the edit change what I said?
The edit removes mistakes, restarts and long pauses; it doesn't rewrite your script or add lines you didn't say. Captions and on-screen titles are checked against your audio. If a cut took out something you need kept, point at the timestamp in a round of changes.
How quickly can a market update be ready?
You see a live estimate from the real queue before you pay. Once an edit starts, our test orders and sample edits so far have taken between 16 minutes and about 1.5 hours, most under 90 minutes. When the queue is full, checkout says so instead of taking a deposit.
What happens to my recordings?
Your footage and the finished video are yours. The files are used only to make your edit, never to train AI, and the raw footage is deleted 30 days after delivery. Your order lives on a private page.
Who actually edits my video?
An AI editor working with professional editing tools. It cuts your footage, times the captions, builds the graphics and mixes the sound, then checks its own work against your notes before you see anything. An edit that doesn't pass those checks goes to a person first.
